The City of Light is coming

There are many who still revere the old gods, but their age is fading, and a new age is dawning: an age of genius; an age of technology; an age of steam. And no city shines brighter as a beacon into the future than the one called the City of Light. Across the whole world it is mysterious, famous, and infamous. Does Mazastar represent a metamorphosis of mankind? Does a revolution in technology mean a revolution in the human condition? A strange woman appears, as if from nowhere, and hires a lowly mercenary to guide her to the shining city in search of answers.

Vol I, Amazon, 5 Stars!  Excellent read!

Outsiders is a fast-paced and refreshingly unique read that You won’t want to put down. If you’re a fan of science fiction, I’d call this one a must read. The author’s detailed knowledge of all things military provides a solid foundation for a story that accelerates as you go. For me, the detailed exploration of the principles and applications of AI was tremendous. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next installment!

Vol I, Amazon, 5 stars!  Awesome book!

I found this to be a great read! Not your typical cookie cutter novel, but a well thought out story with good character development and enough plot twists and unpredictability to keep it very interesting. Highly recommend!

Vol I, Amazon, 4 stars!  Great read!

This is a slightly different look at the Sci-Fi genre. It adds a military touch that makes the whole story deeper and seem more real. Definitely a must read for Sci-Fi fans. I only gave it a 4 star rating so I could rate the other 2 higher.

Vol II, Amazon, 5 stars!  Even better than Vol I

Action, suspense, a little bit of humor, some mystery. This book has it all. Don’t want to say too much for fear of spoilers, and I’m almost done with volume 3. Way better than the other books that are getting churned out nonstop. This one is original, and a great read!

Vol II, Amazon, 5 stars!  A great continuation

After reading Vol I, I thought there was only one way the story could go. Boy was I wrong. This book is a great continuation to the story but adds a few twists to keep it interesting. Overall a great Sci-Fi book

Vol III, Amazon, 5 stars!  The ultimate culmination

This is the ending you were waiting for with this trilogy. Full of twists and things you will not see coming. I can't imagine a better ending to the series. While it is a Sci-Fi book, it makes you take a step back and think about how you view the Earth and the universe. I wish I could give it 6 stars

Split Second

April 5, 2022

I like fiction from which you can actually learn a thing or two. Whether it’s military fiction with enough hard military action that you can actually learn a bit of tactics, or science fiction with enough hard science that you come away with some new knowledge in that field, a book that teaches you something…

This love-letter to the U. S. Army Rangers is, if shameless, also delightful, and if you like hard military action but you’re also a nerd, you should read it. Find it here.
